The antichrist

The video is Every Conspiracy Theory I Was Taught as a Fundamentalist Homeschooler, Drew aka “Genetically Modified Skeptic” (826K subscribers).

I had no idea that it was this bad.

I guess it explains some of the MAGA CT beliefs.

Drew mentions the CT belief that Hillary Clinton is a communist (and communism demonic), and the belief (or at least suspicion) that Obama was the antichrist. This is also new information for me.

For a long time I had no idea why so many people in the US feel such hate and disgust for Obama. But given what Drew says CTs say about Clinton and democrats...

@geoffreymartin6363 | 7 hours ago | My fundamentalist former (for a reason) stepdad beat my brother and I for playing Yugioh. Just spankings, but still awful. There was also a lot of craziness over Harry Potter. I was old enough and not sheltered enough that I knew demons were on par with fairies - and his willingness to do child abuse for his belief in things I knew couldn't be real was one of the first steps of my leaving the church. I'm so sorry they abused you psychologically over Pokemon, I completely relate, it's awful what these belief systems do to children. Knowing as an adult what effects parents can have when they believe bullshit, the anger only increases knowing I was just old enough to avoid it.
